At Curious Cask, every product is a chapter in a grand narrative of shared legends, crafted to fulfill humanity’s inherent need for building personal community — whether through the thrill of competition or the simple joy of gathering. Our Chapter One: Whiskey Playing Cards, were designed to be the finest playing cards but with the true intent of encouraging people to gather and elevate their time together.
Each card case carries this intent, marked with “Best Enjoyed with a Choice of Dram” on one side and “Best Shared with Friends & Rivals” on the other. This ethos has become our guiding principle in everything we do.
When it came to Chapter Two, we sought a new medium and story that could surprise and inspire. Doyle Brunson’s words, “Poker is war. People pretend it is a game,” perfectly encapsulated poker’s essence — a game of connection, rivalry, and timeless memories shared among friends. That’s when we knew Chapter Two had to be about poker.
Creating a poker chip set took us far beyond playing cards, and for the past three years, we’ve been building and learning step by step. We shared a key part of our product development journey with our community of designers, engineers, and storytellers. Now, we invite you, our Kickstarter community, as the final and most essential piece to complete Chapter Two.

Our Reserved Chips were meticulously crafted for clarity, balance, and an authentic poker experience. Featuring carefully chosen classic color distinctions, these chips are easy to identify and handle, eliminating any ambiguity during play. Denominations appear on both sides, adding sophistication compared to blank chips. Made from premium materials, each chip embodies the essence of a professional, upscale poker room.
Manufacturing | Precision-engineered at 11 grams and 39mm in diameter, with a fine sandy finish for a smooth, premium feel.
